Travel Tuesday: Join Us at the Festival of Trees

Travel Tuesday: Join Us at the Festival of Trees

After you’ve eaten your way through Thanksgiving and shopped ‘til you’ve dropped on Black Friday, there is only one thing left to do… get ready for the holiday season!

Join Route One Apparel this weekend at the Festival of Trees – an annual event that benefits thousands of children and their families receiving help from the Kennedy Krieger Institute, a non-profit focused on improving the lives of those with pediatric developmental disabilities. Now in its 30th year, the Festival of Trees celebration will transform the Maryland State Fairgrounds into a winter wonderland with more than 800 decorated trees on display!

This three-day family-friendly festival has something every member of the family will enjoy – magicians for the little ones; visits with Santa for the school kids; comedians for jokester dad; dance performances for mom; more than 100 gift vendors (including Route One Apparel!) for those looking to knock out their holiday shopping; and more!

In addition to the festival’s 30th anniversary, this year will also celebrate another important milestone—the event’s one millionth visitor! If you happen to be the lucky winner of this title, you will receive lifetime tickets to the annual holiday event.

The most important thing to remember about the upcoming holiday season is this: it’s the season of giving. The Kennedy Krieger Institute assists numerous families throughout the year, and this event is just one way we can help give back to our neighbors as they navigate their life journey with the help of Kennedy Krieger.

  • Put your time to good use and become a volunteer at the largest event of its kind on the East Coast.
  • Give a company contribution and become a sponsor for the festival weekend.
  • Donate to Kennedy Krieger’s Happy Holidays Fund to make a difference in someone’s life.
  • Bring the entire family along and attend the festival!

Support a child in need and buy your ticket for the Festival of Trees today. We’ll see you there!
