Pick Your Own Summer Goodies Here in Maryland!

August is the perfect season for buying fresh local produce! Whether you're after mouthwatering tomatoes, summer corn, tempting peaches or juicy grapes, Maryland has a wide variety of spots to pick your own fruits and veggies. Want to know what's near you? Check out our spotlight of a few local faves!

Larriland Farm

This Howard County spot is, well, gigantic! There are acres of produce waiting for you to come pick it, and there's a pretty detailed calendar on the website explaining when all of their good stuff is in season. Busy all month? This location also has apple orchards that will make a great fall outing.

Baugher's

Peaches, plums, nectarines and more await you here in this Carroll County location. Apple season will begin soon, and there is also a fruit market and restaurant for those who are tired of picking (or just wanted to browse instead of doing a lot of walking). You can even feed animals at the petting zoo!

Peachberry Farm at Weber's Cider Mill

Dreaming of blackberries and peaches? Maybe you'd like to get some ice cream to beat the heat after you pick your own produce, or maybe you want a pie to go along with your fruit. This Baltimore County farm is the place for you to go!

Butlers Orchard

If you're in Montgomery County and craving some peppers, tomatoes, berries, or even herbs, Butlers is the place to be! Keep in mind that you will need to reserve your spot online. Once you do, you'll have access to a great variety of pick-your-own goodness.
