Madame Maryland's Horoscope: September 2023

Fall is in the air, Marylanders! Summer is waning, and we're finally getting some nice crisp mornings -- a sure sign that autumn will be here soon. What does the month ahead have in store? Well, Madame Maryland looked into her crystal ball, and here's what she saw.

Have you been waiting for something for a long time? Maybe so long that you've almost forgotten about it? Well, this could be the month when your patience finally pays off. You never know when the seeds you planted months ago will sprout!

Have you been saying yes to things you don't want to do just to keep the peace? That's how resentment builds, and it's time to risk disappointing the people who are always asking more of you than you can really give. It's time!

Don't sell your talents short, Gemini. If you're trying to promote yourself, this month is the time to go big! Whether you're applying for a job, going on dates, or selling your creations, now is not the time to be modest. Get out there!

Having a busy social life is a lot of fun, but don't forget to take some time for yourself! If you've booked yourself solid for the last few weekends, pencil in some time that's just for you. A little alone time is a great way to rejuvenate and get ready for fun new plans in the weeks ahead.

Want to feel a bit more worldly? This is a great month to study a new language, Leo! Brush up on your old high school language studies, or pick something totally new to learn. You'll feel really good about being able to speak more with your neighbors or when you travel to new lands.

You're feeling awfully generous this month, even though it's your season! Maybe you know that it feels just as good to give as it does to receive. If this time of year is handing out bounties, you know that everything is more fun when you share it.

Keep your cool this month, Libra. You might be tested with a few sticky situations, but keeping calm will make all the difference. As long as you trust in your own smarts and your good instincts, you'll come out the other end just fine!

How's your to-read pile coming along? If you haven't made much of a dent in it, don't despair. This will be a great month to find some great reads, especially if you decide to patronize your local libraries and bookshops! Lose yourself in that great book you keep meaning to check out, Scorpio.

Give yourself a little grace this month! Everyone makes mistakes, and yours are no worse than anyone else's. Remember that messing up is all a part of learning, so even if you didn't do something perfectly, it'll go more smoothly next time.

Is your sweet tooth calling to you, Capricorn? It's time to get creative with your choice of dessert! Head to a new cafe or bakery and find something that's new to you -- it's sure to make you feel indulgent and cultured.

Enjoying the great outdoors? Maybe the summer's been too hot and muggy for you to want to spend much time out there, but now that fall is on its way, you could soak up some sun and enjoy all of the natural beauty Maryland has to offer.

Make time for what's important to you this month. If you aren't prioritizing the things that matter, you might feel disconnected from what you love -- and that's no way to live! Grab tickets to a concert or make a reservation at your favorite restaurant.
