Madame Maryland's Horoscope: August 2020

Happy August, Marylanders! What's in store for you this month as summer continues and we start looking at fall? Madame Maryland looked into her horoscope, and here's what she saw:

Aries
Who says you're not allowed to change your mind sometimes, Aries? It's okay to back down from an old opinion and admit you were wrong, misinformed, or that just feel differently now. Staying stubborn just hurts you more in the long run.
Taurus
Giving up isn't really your style, but sometimes, it's better to walk away. If you've given it your all and things still aren't changing, well, you can say that you tried. Turns out that life is a lot less stressful when you're not devoting time and energy to something -- or someone -- that just isn't going to change.
Gemini
Now's a great time to start thinking about your skills, your talents, and your accomplishments. Maybe you're looking for a career change, or maybe you just need a little ego boost! Whatever it may be, August is a great month to make a list of what you're good at and what you know a lot about.
Cancer
Is everything feeling boring and stale, Cancer? It's time to change things up. Even if you can't, say, leave the country or buy a new house, you can still undertake a project to make your living space or yard look different in a way that really suits you. It'll keep you from getting bored and satisfy you well into the future!
Leo
Instead of lashing out when someone doesn't want to do things you way, why not find out where they're coming from? You still may not agree with what they're saying, but you can at least get some new perspective on a situation or project. Don't assume that others are disagreeing just for the sake of disagreeing this month.
Virgo
It's time to get messy, Virgo. Sure, you usually like to keep things orderly and don't want to rock the boat, but now's a great time to let loose and have fun! Get muddy working in the garden, or try tie-dying a shirt in the basement. After all, you can always clean up afterward.
Libra
Are you more worried about impressing other people than actually doing what you want to do, Libra? August is the time to banish those fears of being judged and do what feels right to you instead! Your confidence may actually end up being even more impressive than your passive agreement ever was.
Scorpio
Adventure exists in the most unexpected places, Scorpio. Even if you're still stuck at home, you can find new ways to explore your creative side by writing song lyrics, learning to code, or crafting wearables that you can wear with your favorite Route One Apparel pieces! The sky's truly the limit.
Sagittarius
Need some good advice this month? August is a great month to call up someone whose opinion you really value and get some new perspective on a problem that's been gnawing at you. After all, there's no need to go at it alone -- let someone help you filter that information and make a decision that you'll be proud of.
Capricorn
It's time to close the door on anything that isn't serving you well, Cap! If there are people or projects that haven't been helpful or have just been draining, well, why not clean house this month? You'll find that you have a lot more energy to devote to the things that really matter to you!
Aquarius
Doing your homework is going to be key this month, Aquarius, and we're not talking about in the academic sense. We mean checking and making sure that you've gotten all of your facts right, that you have all of the information you need, and that you haven't glossed over any important details! You'll feel pretty confident when you know you're informed and ready to rock.
Pisces
It's a cliche for a reason -- hard work really does pay off. This month, you'll begin seeing those seeds you planted back a few weeks, months, or even years start to  bloom! Being patient is all part of the deal, and the results are sure to encourage you to continue working towards accomplishing all of your big dreams.
