National Museum of Civil War Medicine

There are many artifacts from the Civil War housed here, and you can learn more about the way surgeries and medicine were handled during and after battles. There are also a variety of live streaming lectures and events for those who want to learn even more.

Calvert Marine Museum

This museum is fun for the whole family! You can find out all about the marine creatures that call Maryland home, and the ones that lived here millions of years ago. You can also learn all about boats, lighthouses, and even woodworking -- master craftspeople regularly show off their skills in the museum.

American Visionary Art Museum

Traditional art is turned on its head at this unique museum! The AVAM focuses on pieces that make you laugh, think, and see things from a completely new perspective. Strange and fabulous pieces need to be seen to be believed. Don't forget to stop by the huge and eclectic gift shop.

Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum

Sports fans young and old will love this museum, which is where baseball legend George "Babe" Ruth was born in 1895, just blocks from Camden Yards. Whether you're a Babe Ruth superfan or you just want to know more about Baltimore's sports history (including the former Baltimore Colts), you'll have plenty to see here.

Ocean City Life-Saving Museum

We think of Ocean City as fun in the sun, and we often take for granted the lifeguards that protect us while we enjoy our vacation. At this museum, you can learn about the amazing history of life-saving in Ocean City! You can also see local sea creatures enjoying their favorite foods in the aquarium room.
