Social Media / Email Coordinator
Do your social media posts rack up the likes, shares, and re-tweets? Do you understand the marketing funnel, and have experience in e-commerce marketing strategy? Can you meet a deadline like no one else you know? And, do you know Route One Apparel customers (aka being Maryland PROUD) backwards and forwards? You may be our next marketing team member! As such, you’ll find out what our fans like best, what they want more of, and what will entice new customers to our business. You’ll know how to attract the new partners who want to work with our business and you’ll know how to work within a budget. We're looking for you to join our team in Towson, Maryland.
General Requirements:
- planning of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts and analysis of post metrics (must be a liaison between our marketing agencies that assist us to make sure deadlines are met)
- email marketing oversight and strategy to our growing customer base of over 300,000+ customers and fans
- creating, tracking and reporting on new sales concepts that are fun, interactive and interesting to the customer (lead gen)
- oversee and schedule content on our website and associated promotions, such as pop ups and other forms of limited-run messaging
- actively searching for new avenues of marketing (direct mail, radio, television, Youtube, etc.)
- communicating and negotiating with potential partners, advertisers, and sponsors, and maintaining a relationship with these contacts
- working closely with the design team to develop ad campaigns on all forms of media
- understanding of an advertising budget
- analyze metrics and identify gaps for further enhancements in upcoming marketing initiatives
- keeping detailed records of all of the above and communication clear to other team members
Necessary Skills:
- familiarity of Photoshop and Illustrator (at least 1-3 years experience)
- creative, outside the box thinking
- advanced knowledge in social media platforms and supporting software
- strong writing skills

Starting Pay: $13-$15/HR
