Madame Maryland's Horoscope: September 2020

Happy September, Marylanders! Fall is well and truly on the way now, and we can't wait for changing leaves and dropping temperatures. So what does September have in store for your sign? Just ask Madame Maryland! She looked into her crystal ball, and here's what she saw:

Aries
If someone trusts you with a secret, Aries, you should be sure to keep it! It may be pretty tempting this month to blab some really hot piece of information that you've learned, but you'll be glad you didn't betray your loved one's confidence. Let them reveal it on their own time!
Taurus
Are you ready to get into cozy mode? You've been looking forward to fall since summer began, and now, the time has nearly come. There are so many ways you can make your space (and yourself) more warm and snug -- think blankets, sweaters, mugs of tea, and, of course, fuzzy socks.
Gemini
Have fear and anxiety been holding you back from becoming your best self? Gemini, this month is the time to take a deep breath and take the plunge! Yes, you are good enough for that job or that opportunity, and if you don't ask the person you're interested on a date, you'll never know of the answer is yes. Be brave!
Cancer
Having a hard time communicating this month? You may be wondering if you're speaking gibberish, since it seems like nobody quite gets what you're saying. Think carefully about what you need and how you can ask for it (even if it takes a little bit longer to get it right).
Leo
You really hate to be bored, but unfortunately, sometimes boring stuff just needs to be done. Don't despair, Leo! This month, getting a few boring tasks out of the way could pave your way to more exciting or useful things. Take the time to dot your I's and cross your T's instead of just giving up out of frustration.
Virgo
Patience is a virtue, Virgo! Normally, you're not an overly hasty sign, but this month, you might be more willing to rush things. Don't let it lead you to a sticky situation. Tell yourself to slow down when it comes to tasks, tests, and contracts in September, and you can avoid headaches long after.
Libra
Don't listen to the naysayers-- it's not too early for Halloween! If you're already filling your home with plastic skeletons and pumpkins, that's nobody's business but your own. After all, why shouldn't we enjoy the spooky season while it's here, especially if it makes us feel better after such a rough year? Decorate with pride, Libra!
Scorpio
Yes, it's possible to work too much, Scorpio. When's the last time you focused on some purposeful unwinding and self care? We're not just talking long bubble baths -- we're talking about eating well, getting your sleep schedule on track, and saying no to tasks that are just overwhelming. We know you can do it!
Sagittarius
You weren't expecting to miss summer, especially not a pandemic summer, and yet, you may find yourself wishing the nice weather and extended sunlight could stay a while longer. It's time to make the most of it! Send off summer with your favorite activities this month, like hiking or swimming, or eating outdoors.
Capricorn
Are you in need of a furry friend? Life in 2020 can be pretty lonely, and maybe you're tired of the people in your household right now. Bringing home a cat or dog in need could be the perfect solution (especially for a responsible sign like you that's sure to take good care of it). Don't forget to create your new buddy an Instagram account!
Aquarius
What have you done for your community lately, Aquarius? This is a great month to consider the ways you can give back to the part of Maryland that you call home right now. From becoming a polling place volunteer to helping with local food banks, there are so many things you can make happen in September.
Pisces
Sometimes, it's okay to be a little childish. Yes, you still need to do things like pay bills and clean up, but you can also pick out that favorite snack that your parents would never get for you next time you're at the store, or bring home a favorite old toy (hello, Rubik's cube). Why not? A little fun can really take you far.
