America's 250th anniversary shirt for Fourth of July 2026, celebrating Maryland's role in building this country from day one. 1776 to 2026. Two hundred and fifty years. And Maryland has been in the middle of it since before the ink was dry.
This is the state that sent 400 soldiers into a fight they couldn't win at the Battle of Brooklyn just so the rest of the army could survive. The state where Francis Scott Key watched the flag hold through the night and gave this country its anthem. The state where the Treaty of Paris was ratified in Annapolis, officially ending the Revolutionary War. The state that has been showing up for America since America wasn't even sure it was going to make it.
A lot of states celebrate the Fourth. Maryland earned it. When the country was two months old and on the verge of being over before it started, it was Marylanders who held the line. When the nation needed a song, it came from the Baltimore harbor. When the war needed an ending, it happened in Maryland's capital.
250 years. Maryland was there for all of it. This is how you celebrate both.
