The coasters are very nice. They have four pads on each corner on the back to avoid scratching the furniture. I bought the set of 4 because the cost of each goes down but I split the set up and will give one to each of my kids for Christmas, along with a Maryland Flag Mug (also purchased from Route One Apparel) and some Maryland coffee from Baltimore Coffee Company (Raven Blend and Federal Hill Blend) to make a nice Maryland gift set. The print is subtle but distinguishable (I love the gray scale - got two gray scale masks as well). The slate is heavy enough that hopefully it won't stick to the glass if the glass sweats. Great purchase, very happy, will by more from this company! Great to order from and work with!
