Route One Apparel Sales Directors are responsible for traveling to our retail locations throughout Maryland, working in the office with our team, and reporting on metrics post-meeting.

We’re looking for lively, intelligent, and sales-oriented thinker with a presentable appearance and means to travel the state themselves. Our goal, as well as yours if you choose to work with us, is to inform our clients of new releases, aid in curating designs specific to them, and suggesting, based on your product knowledge, where an account can really go with the right guidance, creative mindset, and personal connections—not to mention Maryland pride!

Responsibilities:

• Travel to stores in Maryland to engage new and existing accounts
• Collaborate with the team to find the best tactics and methods for growth
• Work with clients to curate custom or private label designs
• Recommend existing products that would exceed expectations in a retail sales setting
• Project and forecast sales
• Connect with clients in unique and original ways
• Evolve and promote partnerships
• Work on special projects
• Research sales techniques
• Learn and use our shared servers
• Contribute new and exciting sales opportunities
• Acquire new customers and win-back inactive customers
• Offer impeccable customer service
• Flexibility to attend trade shows
• Learn in-depth product-knowledge of client and competitors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required
• Experience of at least two years in the fields of customer service (i.e. retail, hospitality, restaurant industry, sales)
• Strong work ethic
• Punctual
• Solution-oriented and focused
• Featured traits of strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, responds well to pressure and deadlines, outgoing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
