Say Goodbye to Winter With these Crab Soups

Spring is here, and that means warmer weather is on the way...right? Well, any Marylander knows that the weather can turn on a dime, and there may still be a few chilly days ahead! Want to warm up as you await summer? Try these crab soups that are so good, you'll wish it was cold all year round!

Maryland crab soup

It's an icon for a reason! This hearty soup can be made surprisingly quickly -- only 20 minutes stand between you and this Maryland classic. It's also an easy way to get a lot of veggies into your diet without even realizing it.

Cream of crab soup

Creamy, dreamy, and oh so indulgent, nothing warms you up quite like cream of crab soup. Make it like a true local by following the McCormick recipe. Don't forget the sherry!

Chinese-style crab soup

Let's try something new! This flavorful recipe doesn't call for a lot of ingredients, and you can skip the tofu if you want to just focus on the crab. With sesame oil, soy sauce, and cooking sake, this is sure to be perfect for days where you want anything but bland dinner.

Nordic-inspired crab stew

A Nordic-inspired meal is sure to keep you warm when the winds are chilly and raw! You can experiment with the seafood you put in this to make it more Maryland, or leave out items you aren't a fan of. After all, the crab is the star of the show.

Potato crab chowder

These are two great foods that taste divine together! Indulge in the hearty goodness of crab and potato, as well as onion, garlic, and plenty of spices.
