Can you feel it in the air? That's the feeling of the Halloween season, and every Marylander can get in on the fun in Baltimore this year. From kid-friendly activities to super-spooky events for only the bravest, there are plenty of things to check out in Charm City for Halloween 2018. Here are just a few of them:
Not satisfied with the haunted house attractions you've been to in years past? Looking for something that will really make your blood run cold? Okay, well, you clearly haven't been to the Nevermore Haunt! Located right in Baltimore, this creepy and over-the-top haunted house is sure to scare you right out of your pants (well, maybe you should keep those on). It's open for visits until 11/3, so be sure to grab your tickets now!
Who says a spooky-fun day at the zoo is just for kids? Not us! Kids will get to get candy (aka the best part of Halloween) and dress up in costumes, but everyone can enjoy spending a crisp autumn day with all of the awesome animals at the Maryland Zoo. Best of all, there are three days of this event, so you can pick the most convenient one -- or go to all three, if you're really, really obsessed with animals.

If you're over 21, you can't go wrong with a costumed bar crawl! Hit Baltimore's most lively neighborhood in style and be on the town until you have to return to your grave. 13 bars will be participating in this event that you seriously don't want to miss. (Not sure what costume to wear? Um, you seriously can't go wrong with a Route One Apparel bodysuit!)
What's creepier than missing out on all the fun of Halloween at Power Plant Live? Nothing, that's what! Write your own Baltimore Horror Story and party the night away with all of your frightful friends. There will be tons of prizes to be won and great music all night long.

The Great Halloween Lantern Parade and Festival, 10/27
Looking for something you can bring the little ones to this Halloween weekend? They're going to love this parade and festival, which includes everything from a kid's costume contest to hayrides. And of course the grown-ups will have a great time, too! There will be a beer garden, yoga, and plenty of live music, meaning everyone in the family is going to have fun. Check out last year's highlight reel at the website.
