Festivals In Maryland to Look Forward To

One of the coolest things about Maryland is the number of festivals that we have here! No matter what season it is, or what your interest is, you'll be sure to find a festival that's right for you. Let us know in the comments which one you're definitely going to be attending (you might even see us there!).

FeBREWary, Month of February

Fancy a pint or two? Why not grab a local brew next month? Craft beer makers will be showing off their stuff all over the state, and you'll get to reap the benefits. This year, a variety of breweries will all be creating their own special recipe to be named 'Cupid's Curse', and it'll be up to the people to decide which one reigns supreme. See who's participating and check out more FeBREWary events here.

Preakness Stakes, May 16-18, Baltimore

Everybody who's anybody in Maryland observes the Preakness Stakes like a national holiday. This year, the iconic second leg of the Triple Crown will be run in May, so you've got plenty of time to go get your big floppy hat. The Infieldfest players should be announced soon, but tickets are on sale for box seats and other race day activities already, so go get your own now.

2019 MD State Fair, 8/23-9/2, Timonium

Rides, booths, games and shows -- yep, the Maryland State Fair has it all! This is the perfect place to take the kids, your friends, or a cute new date. Say hi to a few farm animals or wait until dark so you can ride the glowing Ferris wheel that can be seen for miles.

Light City/Baltimore Book Festival, Month of November, Baltimore

Two iconic Baltimore events are joining forces this year to create an unforgettable month of events! Light City is moving to a time of year with less daylight, making it easier to enjoy all of the cool light art installations, and the Baltimore Book Festival will be going on during this time as well. Light, art and books? Count us in.
