6 Fun Maryland Spots For Your First Date

on

Love is in the air! Valentine's Day is on its way, and there's a promise of spring here in Maryland. That means that many of us are finding romance, and there's no shortage of fun spots right here in the Old Line State to go on a first date. Want some ideas? Look no further.

1. Bengies Drive In Theater

Want to have an old-school date (while watching new releases)? A drive-in movie could be just the ticket, pun fully intended. This Middle River icon will open again with the spring weather and it's a fun spin on the classic movie date.

2. Ekiben

Forgo the typical boring first date restaurant experience in favor of one of Baltimore's most beloved -- and delicious -- eateries. Beef, chicken, and even tofu just taste better when it comes from Ekiben, and who knows? Maybe it'll become your favorite place to go as a couple.

3. Baltimore Chef Shop

Do you and your potential new honey love to make food -- or wish you were better cooks? The Baltimore Chef Shop in Hampden is here to teach Marylanders how to make sushi, bread, desserts, and even fancy Italian and French dishes. Even if the new person doesn't work out, you'll get a great new skill to bring on another date!

4. No Land Beyond

Nerd love could start right here at No Land Beyond! This spot is perfect for hardcore gamers and casual board game players alike. You and your date can buy food, beer, and cocktails as you bond over a thrilling victory.

5. Calvert Cliffs

If you and your date are both the outdoorsy type, you can go on a brisk hike to Maryland's fossil destination! Enjoy the natural beauty of the park as you make your way to the shoreline, where shark teeth from millions of years ago are just waiting to be discovered. Talk about a romantic adventure!

6.Green Mount Cemetery

Do you and your date both love all things spooky? Indulge your morbid side by taking a walk through the state's most famous burial site! There's some real beauty to be seen in the old tombstones, and many well-known figures were laid to rest here.
