5 Things You Can't Forget On Your Vacay!

School's officially out and summer is officially here -- and there are so many vacations to be taken. Maryland, as we all know, is the ideal destination for basically everything, whether that's lying out on the beach to catch some rays or spending an active day hiking in the mountains or along the trails. As any Boy Scout will tell you, you'll want to be prepared! No matter where you're headed this summer, these items are must-haves for any Maryland vacation.

As any Boy Scout will tell you, you'll want to be prepared! That means the basics, you know, sunscreen, phone charger, etc. And we're happy to be a one stop shop for many of the items that you'll need most!  No matter where you're headed this summer, these items are must-haves for any Maryland vacation.

Sunglasses

That hot summer sun is no joke! And you don't want to spend your entire vacation squinting, right? Plus, your eyes can get UV damage, just like your skin can. Protect your peepers and look great in the process (we're awfully fond of the O's-colored sunglasses that are sure to have everyone you walk past on the Boardwalk jealous!).

Lunch Box

A picnic 'downy ocean' or in one of the Maryland state parks isn't going to be much fun if it's all squished from getting carried around in a brown bag. Go a little bit more environmentally friendly and keep your crab-flavored Utz chips from turning to dust on your vacation lunches with this stylish lunch box!

 Backpack/Duffel

How many times have you been at the airport, waiting to find your bag at the baggage carousel, only to grab the wrong plain black duffel or suitcase? That's not going to happen with these bags, believe us! Of course, getting some sturdy new bags is a must for any trip, even if you're not dealing with the whole airport circus. When you're backpacking, you're gonna need a backpack, after all! And our duffels are ideal for beach trips (especially since they can hold all your Route One clothes).

Towels

Swimming at the lake, swimming in the ocean, swimming at the pool...look, we know you might have brought a ratty bath towel while you're swimming somewhere this summer--we've all been there. But you don't have to this summer, thanks to all of our towel options, like the iconic Boh towel right up there! Now you can take on the waves and waterfalls without having to use your T-shirt to dry off.

Umbrella

We'd love to imagine a world where Maryland weather isn't completely unpredictable, but until that magical day arrives, it pays to be prepared. Tuck an umbrella in your glovebox or backpack so you don't get rain on your parade when you're on your way to your vacation spot or while you're chilling at that outdoor music festival.

We want to hear from you! What Route One Apparel products are the must-packs on your summer 2017 trips? Don't forget to tag us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram when you head out on that road trip or camping adventure with your favorite R1A swag!
