1000 Lights Water Lantern Festival
A warm evening on the water can only be made better with an impressive lightshow. With the 4th of July fireworks over with, the 1000 Lights Water Lantern Festival can illuminate your summer night. As the twinkling lights brighten up Canton Waterfront Park, festival goers celebrate new beginnings and remember loved ones in a special, unique way. The lantern festival, which takes place across the U.S., honors the water as ‘the root of all life.’
Baltimore Seafood Fest
Roll out the brown paper and grab a mallet—the sixth annual Baltimore Seafood Festival is coming up quickly. Craving crab cakes? How about oysters from our local waterways? Or maybe shrimp is more your style? Either way, get ready to dig into dozens of dishes from Baltimore’s top restaurants. Held on September 14, this seafood festival shows what Maryland is all about—live music, good food and drinks, and lots of fun with family and friends.

Annual Vegan SoulFest
Improving your health and your relationship with animals and the environment are a few of the topics you can learn about this August in Baltimore. Hosted by The Land of Kush and Thrive Baltimore, the Annual Vegan SoulFest takes place at Clifton Park and features numerous performances, speakers, live bands, and cooking exhibitions for anyone interested in the vegan lifestyle. As a bonus, proceeds from sales go towards supporting the vegan mission and the efforts of the organizers around the region.
Boozin' Through The World of Wizardry
Get your wands ready… this September, Power Plant Live is going to look a lot more magical. Swarms of Potterheads will descend into Baltimore on September 21 to bar crawl their way through The World of Wizardry. Bypass the muggles as you make your way through Leinenkugle’s, Tin Roof, and PBR for an enchanted evening. And fear not – if you don’t already have a wand, you can purchase a bar hopper ticket with a wand included. Accio, beer!
