David This belt looks as good in person as the picture, especially w a pair of jeans. The leather and brass buckle are higher quality than I expected, which I appreciate. I ought to get 20 years out of this belt. I bought +2 inches on my waist size and it's perfect. I wouldn't want it any smaller. +4 probably might have worked and would have given my gut room to grow (which I'm trying to avoid), but +2 is ideal if I can maintain my size. There are only 5 holes that are about 1cm apart from each other so it's a smaller range than other belts.

Karen Smith My husband loves the belt. We did have to exchange it, however, as the advice to add 4 inches to his normal size was too much. We exchanged it for one just 2 inches larger than the listed size, and it was perfect.

James M. This belt is great. Nicely made and very sharp. You should ignore the instruction in the item description to order 4” larger. That is not accurate. Just order your standard belt size.
